Summary

The list in this section is only a small list of many other methods of data analysis used within research. The main determinants of what method of analysis you use will be your research question, and what you are trying to achieve. The methods that you use to deploy your research may also carry with them their own systems of analysis. It is absolutely imperative that you do further reading on methods and analysis for your particular research project.

Research Analysis Software

There are software programmes available that can be bought and used to assist in the analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. While these software programmes are helpful in research, it is also important that the researcher knows some basic elements of the analysis process.
