Expression of Interest

An expression of interest is often a pre-cursor to a full research proposal. It is a summary of the research proposal and is intended to provide funding agencies and academic committees with the basic information on your research in order to make a decision on whether to consider a full application and proposal.

Generally speaking it may be between 3-5 pages long and contain all the components of a full research proposal in summarised form.
